Ceramic Anilox Roller Use Maintenance and Common Problem

1. Storage

2.  Loading and Unloading

The proper way to move the roller is to secure the belt or other support to both ends of the roller and avoid contact with the edge of the roller or other parts of the ceramic paint. 3. Printing Environment

(1) Ceramic roller must be carefully cleaned before use, and carefully check the surface of the grid to ensure that there is no oil, dust.

4. Ink selection and filtration

Refuse to use inferior ink containing filling impurities, place magnetic filter in the ink tank to avoid scratching the roller with metal impurities.

5. Clear in time

Every time after the printing must be thoroughly clean ceramic anilox roller surface, avoid the rest of the ink left in the mesh at the bottom of the dry solid and jams mesh, once the residual ink dry solid is difficult to effectively clean at the bottom of the mesh, and can build up, reduce the effective volume of the mesh material, reduce the ink to release a quantity, affect the printing quality.

6. Check

Mesh microscopy is often used to detect mesh, such as wear and blockage, should take timely measures.

7. Use the scraper correctly

Special scraper and appropriate pressure should be selected to clean the ceramic roller surface of excess ink as a standard, too much pressure will damage the service life of roller.

(1) Do not over pressure the scraper in order to get better tone, in order to increase roller and scraper wear.

(2) Do not turn the dry roller against the scraping knife.

(3) Every time the scraper is updated, the pressure needs to be reset. The wrong pressure setting will produce scraper fragments and damage the roll surface.

(4) Stop using the scraper that has exceeded the maximum wear degree, establish the daily process of monitoring the change of scraper wear, stably control the wear degree of the scraper, and avoid damage to the roller.

(5) Always keep the roller and scraper parallel, every 15 days to check the calibration.

8. Reasonable selection of mesh type and roller mesh.

(1) Roller with different line number, ink load and angle of network cable has different printing effect. Users should choose roller according to different printing requirements. Non-absorbable substrate materials, the required amount of ink transfer is small, roller line number should be increased accordingly, absorbable materials, the required amount of ink transfer, line number should be reduced accordingly, substrate surface smoothness is high, line number increased accordingly, and vice versa.in addition, high-speed machine ink transfer less, should increase the number of roller line. According to the printing ink quantity, substrate material, printing mode and other processing technology requirements to select a certain number of lines and bcm value of ceramic roller.

(2) Use the correct mesh depth and opening ratio, the correct ratio means smoother surface and slower blade wear.

9. The correct roller daily cleaning and maintenance

(1) In the shift stop to timely cleaning roller, do a clean, do not leave ink residue, the use of solvent and roller special stainless steel brush cleaning effect is the best, after cleaning the use of high pressure air gun to dry the layout of water stains.

(2) In the replacement of product type and roller, such as a long time not to use to do a thorough cleaning, dry preservation. Roller machine to wipe out excess ink, use roller special cleaning agent will be evenly coated roller surface after the use of winding film roller bread placed for more than 12 hours, and then use steel wire brush on roller uniform brush, and then use water to clean the surface, again using high pressure air gun to dry the surface.

Second one: Ceramic roller cleaning

At present, the cleaning method of ceramic mesh roller: organic solvent cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning and special cleaning agent cleaning several.

(1) Wire brush daily cleaning

First with solvent wipe ink, and then with special chemical cleaning agent, evenly coated to the roller surface, the diameter of 0.07 mm special stainless steel wire brush along the mesh angle for cleaning.

(2) Chemical cleaning agent immersion cleaning

Use special mesh chemical cleaning agent to soak the cylinder, through the high-pressure spray device along the axial movement of the cylinder, spray the solution to the rotating roller, clean the residual ink in the mesh, then rinse with water, use filtered compressed gas evenly dry the roller surface.

(3) Ultrasonic cleaning

The roller is immersed in the chemical cleaning solution in the slow rotation, ultrasonic generation device to make the solution vibration, resulting in countless micro bubbles hit the mesh, the bubble under the pressure of the explosion to clear the mesh residues, thoroughly clean the mesh. Attention must be paid to the use of appropriate ultrasonic intensity, frequency, time and solution temperature to prevent excessive cleaning damage to the mesh of the roller.

10. The wrong cleaning method is strictly prohibited:

(1) Steam spray washing

It can damage the surface of roller carving, resulting in deformation and corrosion of the steel body.

(2) The fire

The high temperature jet flame will seriously damage the ceramic surface, resulting in the deformation of the mesh and leaving ablative marks on the ceramic.

(3) Acid and its chemical substitutes

This is the worst way to try to clean the roller. Many acid compounds can seriously affect ceramic coatings and corrodes shaft heads and steel bodies, and the acid can also affect operator health.
